THE SEAWEED FIBER MADE TO BE WORN CLOSE TO THE SKIN.

WHAT YOU WEAR FIRST MATTERS.

Few things come as close to our skin as the clothes we wear every day. Yet we rarely stop to think about what they’re actually made of.

It’s worth taking a closer look.

Because the closer something gets to your skin, the more its material matters.

SKINCARE YOU WEAR.

What makes seaweed interesting in skincare is built right into the SEACELL fiber.

Seaweed is naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and trace elements. The skin’s natural moisture allows these substances to be exchanged. SEACELL also has antioxidant properties that help neutralize free radicals.

And here’s what makes it particularly interesting: these properties remain in the fiber, even after repeated washing.

SO, WHAT IS SEACELL?

SEACELL combines two natural raw materials: wood-derived cellulose and seaweed from the North Atlantic.

The seaweed becomes an integral part of the cellulose fiber. Rather than being applied as a surface treatment, it’s incorporated directly into the material.

The result is an exceptionally soft fiber that combines the properties of seaweed with the comfortable feel of cellulose.

An interesting combination for clothing worn directly against the skin.

FROM THE ICELANDIC FJORDS.

The seaweed used in our SEACELL jersey comes from the fjords of Iceland.

It’s harvested carefully and selectively. Only the upper part of the seaweed is collected, allowing it to continue growing and regenerate naturally.

The seaweed is then combined with wood-derived cellulose to create SEACELL. The fiber is produced using a closed-loop process that releases no chemicals as waste. The seaweed fiber is manufactured carbon-neutrally.

From the ocean to the fiber. From the fiber to the fabric.

WHY 96% SEACELL?

In many textiles, specialty fibers make up only a small percentage of the material. We wanted SEACELL to define the fabric of our essentials.

That’s why our jersey is made from 96% Lyocell (SEACELL) and 4% recycled elastane.

The fabric is knitted in Portugal and then made into our boxer trunks and T-shirts.

With such a high proportion of SEACELL, the fiber is exactly where its properties matter most: directly against the skin.

MADE TO BE WORN CLOSE TO THE SKIN.

What makes a great pair of underwear?

The fabric is part of the answer. Just as important is how it’s constructed.

Our Essential Boxer Trunks feature a wide elastic waistband fully covered in jersey. Seams are deliberately concentrated around the contoured front pouch. And instead of a sewn-in care label, the information is printed directly onto the fabric.

Small details. Until you wear them.

Fewer seams. No irritating labels. Exceptionally soft jersey.

Good underwear shouldn’t make itself noticed.

FROM SEA TO SKIN.

It starts with seaweed from the North Atlantic. It ends with a material we wear directly against our skin, every single day.

In between lies an unconventional approach to materials, modern fiber technology, and the belief that the things we wear every day deserve more thought.
